With Valentine’s day coming up near
I wonder what I can gift her out this year!
Roses have been gifted for years,
again If I do, they can now bring in tears !
Chocolates were best till last year,
strings n strip hiding under her smile, now make me fear
Suggestions and tips from friends are hardly any new,
thinking last night, I liked this one of the few..
on this beautiful night, take her out to watch the stars bright
hold her tight and just say this line
and I am sure, you will get back that beautiful smile -
“Chocolates and roses – all had their turn,
Now, I just afford to name a star for my beloved one!”
I love the poem! And it brings out a good point, that other gifts have been given, usually many times over. How about something different like their very own star? That is definitely something you don’t get two of!
My daughter received one from her boyfriend and loved it.
